OSSAA Approves Wrestling Changes

The OSSAA board voted on and approved changes to wrestling this past Wednesday.

First reported by John Trancina of the Tulsa World, the state tournament will now be extended to a three-day event, dual state will be reduced to one-day for each class, an additional class will be created for girls, and the number of schools will be adjusted across all-boys classes.

We confirmed some specifics on the changes with the OSSAA’s Wes Ruth.
