Congratulations to Bixby’s Jersey Robb and Guthrie’s Eli Kirk for joining the 100 victory club.  Robb, picked up his 100th win at a dual in California and then capped the trip with a tournament title at the Doc Buchanan Invitational.   Kirk got his 100th win on Senior Night in Guthrie and then capped his week winning the Cushing Tournament.

Congratulations to Cascia Hall’s Luke Eschenheimer who was named the Outstanding Wrestler at the Catholic School National Tournament.

The Geary Tournament is steeped in history and tradition.  They recently added a Hall of Fame to recognize the incredible coaches, wrestlers and officials that have been part of the 78 year history of the tournament.  Congratulations to this year’s recipients, David Brack, Tom Brack and David (DJ) James.

I would like to recognize wrestlers selected as the Outstanding Wrestler at each of tournament.  Please contact me at the addresses listed below with that information and I will include it in the next “Mat Moments.”

Please feel free to email me at [email protected] or on Twitter @Mkirk811 if have anything you would like included in a future article.
