Oklahomans Ezmerelda Fuller and Lane Gourley are set to compete at the Beach Wrestling World Championships later this week. Gourley will be competing in the U20 age group at over 90 KG, and Fuller will be in the U17 age group at 75 KG.
The U17 and U20 Beach World Championships will take place at the foot of legendary Mount Olympus at the Aloha Beach Bar in Katerini, Greece, September 25-26.
Session times each day are at 10:00 a.m. (Group competition) and 4:00 p.m. (Elimination Rounds and Finals), both local time. Katerini, Greece is seven hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time zone.
Northern Oklahoma College Coach Brian Kenney will be a part of the Team USA coaching staff for the event.
