Bixby Hires Gregg Evans as an Assistant Wrestling Coach

Week after week this summer, Bixby has made headlines across the Oklahoma wrestling world with big-name hire after big-name hire, and this week is no exception.

Bixby has announced Oklahoma Chapter National Wrestling Hall of Fame member Gregg Evans as a new assistant coach.

🚨🚨 We’re THRILLED to announce the addition of Gregg “Money” Evans to the @Bixby_Wrestling staff! The @NWHOF inductee has helped coach 12 team & 35 individual state championships in his career & previously worked at BHS from 2014-17.

Evans was most recently an assistant at Tulsa Union and prior to that coached at Bixby up to 2017.

Evans is the third major hire for Bixby this summer after bringing in former Stanford Associate Head Coach Ray Blake as the head of the program, and former Pryor coach Garrett Evans as the head junior high coach and assistant with the high school.
