Stillwater, OK – The Oklahoma State Wrestling Programs announced today that Amani Jones will join the Oklahoma State Cowgirl Wrestling Club as an assistant coach and the Cowboy Regional Training Center (RTC) as an athlete.

Jones relocates to Stillwater in the midst of an
outstanding collegiate and international career. A four-time All-American and two-time National Champion at North Central College, she has also made her mark on the world stage, earning bronze medals at both the 2023 U20 World Championships and the 2024 U23 World Championships.

The Cowgirl Wrestling Club staff includes legendary former OSU Cowboy Wrestling Head
Coach John Smith, Head Coach and All-American Izzak Olejnik and Executive Director
Rebecca Roper. Jones joins a dynamic training environment alongside elite athletes such as
Zahid Valencia and Wyatt Hendrickson at the Cowboy RTC.

“The addition of Amani is exactly what Cowgirl Wrestling needed,” said Head Coach Izzak
Olejnik. “Adding a coach who is still actively competing and training at an elite level gives our
athletes a firsthand look at what it takes to become the best. Amani knows what it takes to reach those peaks, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her on board.”
