Broken Arrow set the Girls State Tournament scoring record in winning the 2025 Class 6A State Tournament and with eight returning state placers, including two state champions, they enter this season as this year’s favorite.  Bixby, Union, Westmoore, and Stillwater also have strong teams and look to challenge for the state title.

Led by Bixby’s 3X state champion Millie Azlin, there are 13 returning or past state champions in Class 6A.  Kyrain Perez (Westmoore), Addie Morse (Bixby), and Tessalyn Goodner (Putnam City) will be shooting for their 3rd state titles.  Other state champions are Kyrstan Perez (Westmoore), Kristen DeLaRosa (Broken Arrow), McKenna Wilson (Union), Emily Beckley (Broken Arrow), Terrilan Banner (Union), Makaylee Cannon (Piedmont), Serinity High (Del City), 2024 champion Kinslee Collier (Edmond North) and 2023 champion Hannah Lopez (Westmoore).

Class 6A has eight girls that have won All-American honors at Fargo.  Bixby’s Millie Azlin is a 2X All-American and 2024 national champion and teammate Addie Morse earned her 3rd All-American finish this past summer.  Broken Arrow’s Emily Beckley and Edmond North’s Clover Williams earned runner-up finishes, while Union’s Kelcie Luker placed 5th to earn her second All-American finish.  Norman’s Claire Lancaster earned All-American honors with her 7th place finish and Westmoore’s Kyrain Perez placed 8th to earn All-American honors.  Edmond North’s Kinslee Collier earned All-American honors with a 3rd place finish in 2024.

Broken Arrow, coached by Tori Liles, finished number two in the national rankings last year and returns plenty of fire power.  The power-packed line-up includes state champions Kristen DeLaRosa and Emily Beckley, state runners-up Kyah Leyba, Tiffany Breshears and Sophie Donaho, 2X state placer Alina Peralta, state placers Brooklyn Church and Sonora Reece and 2X state qualifier Sophia Reece.  Donaho was a 2024 runner-up and is a 3X state qualifier.

In the past four years, Bixby has one state title and three runner-up finishes.  With nine wrestlers with State Tournament experience, Bixby should be in the hunt once again for a state title.  Coached by Jenna Burkert, Bixby returns 3X state champion Millie Azlin, runner-up Madyn Novosad, and 2X state qualifier and 2023 state placer Lily Lane, along with 3X state qualifier Brooke Pate, 2X state qualifiers Larra Mullin, and Malana Miller and state qualifiers Abbey Miller and Gracie Cooper.  Adding more power to the lineup is 2X state champion and 3X finalist Addie Morse.  Morse previously wrestled at Harrah.

Union, coached by Gerald Harris, may not have the depth of some of the other teams, but always counters with front-line strength and bonus points.  Union returns plenty of State Tournament points with state champions McKenna Wilson and Terrilan Banner and 3rd place medalists Dakota Harris and Kelcie Luker.

Westmoore, coached by Bryson McGowan, is another team to keep an eye on as they have will score big early with some of the strongest lower weights in the state.  Westmoore returns 2X state champion Kyrain Perez, state champion and 2X finalist Kyrstan Perez and 2X state placer Ranelle Smith.  Westmoore welcomes 2023 state champion and 3X state placer Hannah Lopez to add to their lower weights strength.  Lopez previously wrestled at Moore.

Stillwater, coached by Elizabeth Tidwell, returns state placer Loyalty Lockett and state qualifier Lalinya Rupp and added state runners-up Ezmeralda Fuller and Mya Dobrinski along with state placer Taylor Brown to the team.  Fuller, Dobrinski, and Brown all wrestled at Edmond North last year.

Bixby’s Millie Azlin looks to join Choctaw’s Petyon Hand and Bixby’s Jadyn Roller as a 4X state champion.  She is on track to do something that no 4X state champion (boys or girls) has done and that is get falls in all of her State Tournament matches.  Coming into this season, Azlin is a perfect nine falls in nine matches at the State Tournament.  Azlin enters her senior season with an amazing 101-3 career record.

Westmoore’s Kyrain Perez was a state qualifier as a freshman before winning state titles the past two seasons.  Perez added to her impressive résumé with an All-American performance at Fargo.  Perez went 39-3 last season and enters her senior year with a 102-15 career record.

Bixby’s Addie Morse enters her senior year as a 2X state champion and 3X state finalist.  As a freshman, Morse was a state runner-up to eventual 4X state champion Jadyn Roller.  Last year, Morse had falls in all three of her State Tournament matches to end the season with a 42-2 record.  The 3X Fargo All-American has a 104-7 career record.

Broken Arrow’s Kristen DeLaRosa, steadily moved up the podium, placing 4th as a freshman and 2nd as a sophomore before winning the 115 lb. state title last year.  To win last year’s title DeLaRosa had to avenge the finals loss her sophomore year to Stillwater’s Abigail Rivero.  DeLaRosa enters her senior season with a 111-21 career record.

DeLaRosa’s teammate Emily Beckley placed 3rd as a freshman before winning last year’s title.  Beckley had all falls at the State Tournament, including a fall in the finals in 0:40 to win the 135 lb. title.  Beckley continued her impressive year with a runner-up finish at Fargo.  Beckley had all falls or tech falls before falling in the finals to the nation’s number one ranked P4P wrestler, Taina Fernandez from Maryland.  Beckley enters her junior year with an 86-4 career record.

Union also returns two state champions with McKenna Wilson and Terrilan Banner winning titles last year.  Wilson took the first step in becoming a 4X state champion, going an impressive 33-1 in her freshman year to win the 120 lb. state title.

Banner moved up the podium each year, placing 3rd as a freshman, runner-up as a sophomore and winning the 140 lb. state title last season.  Banner capped a perfect 16-0 season with all falls at the State Tournament with the falls coming in 0:17, 1:19 and 0:23 in the finals.  Wrestling a total of 1:59, Banner set the Girls record for fastest three falls for a state champion.  Banner enters her senior year with a 58-7 career record.
