Yukon’s Boston Powell to Have Season-Ending Surgery

Unfortunate news out of Yukon as two-time state placer Boston Powell will have season-ending surgery. Powell, who finished fourth at the state tournament the last two seasons was currently ranked 2nd at 144 pounds in 6A. He won titles at the Perry Tournament and Edmond Memorial Pre-Turkey Open this season and also made the podium at the Reno Tournament of Champions.

Powell is committed to OCU and will wrestle for them next season.
