Williams/Wiley Win Pan Am Gold and help Lead United States to Team Titles

Bella Williams and John Wiley both won U23 Pan Am Championships Gold Medals and helped lead the United States to team titles.

Wiley claimed gold in the 70 kg on Saturday, going 4-0 while. Wiley capped his dominant run with a win over Canada’s Cole Coghill in the finals at Auditorio General José María Arteaga. The Mustang, Okla., native outscored his opponents 41-1 across four technical falls and secured an automatic berth to the Junior Pan American Games in August in Asunción, Paraguay.

Edmond North’s Bella Williams also dominated her round robin tournament going 3-0 and taking the 59 KG title on Friday.
