Saturday morning at the Big 12 Tournament turned out to be a bit more eventful than I ever would have expected. In the unique balance of doing this wrestling coverage, my career, and handling the responsibilities of my marriage and parenthood, I had agreed with my wife that I would watch our son for a few hours on Saturday morning so she could get some things done before I went to the tournament. I had been there the entire day before on Friday doing opening interviews. That said, I wasn’t even in Tulsa yet when it went down. I got there around noon. But I spoke on and off the record with coaches and others throughout the weekend, and here’s what I heard.
