Tulsa to Host Junior National Duals for 2022 and 2023

From USA Wrestling | Dec. 02, 2021, 10:44 a.m. (ET)

USA Wrestling is excited to announce that Junior and 14U Girls National Duals is returning to Tulsa, Okla., at the Cox Business Convention Center on June 14-18, 2022, which will showcase the nation’s top high school boys and girls along with 14U girls wrestlers in a dual format. Tulsa has also been awarded the event for 2023.

National Duals is a tremendous opportunity for athletes to join other elite athletes from their respective state to see which state can achieve bragging rights of being crowned national champions in Greco-Roman and freestyle.

In 2021, Team Illinois won the Junior Greco-Roman title, while Iowa and California won the Junior Boys and Junior Girls titles, respectively. Team Pennsylvania topped the podium in the 14U Girls division. Team Oklahoma finished second in Greco and second in Freestyle.

Along with team placing, athletes who are undefeated and have more than five (5) wins are recognized with all-tournament honors. Athletes who are interested should contact their respective USA Wrestling state leaders to learn about qualification process and state policies for this event.
