Today would’ve been the 61st birthday of Steve Williams. Four-time OU All-American and now WWE Hall of Famer.
The 2020 Hall of Fame induction ceremony was delayed due to COVID-19, but the WWE announced Steve as a “Legacy Inductee” of the 2020 class on April 6th, 2021
Other members of the class include Baron Michele Leone, Brickhouse Brown, Gary Hart and Ray Stevens.
Steve wrestled and played football for OU from 1980-1983. He passed away in 2009 after a long battle with throat cancer.
