OSSAA State Tournament Schedule

With the state tournament this week, we thought we’d compile all of the information from the OSSAA into an easily accessible spot for those who frequent out website. Here is the schedule for Friday and Saturday

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Friday, February 24
7:30 a.m. Weigh in (ALL CLASSES)

*Two digital scales will be assigned to each class. If a contestant fails to make weight on his/her assigned scale, he/she
shall immediately step on each available scale one time in attempt to make weight. (Note: Classes 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A and
Girls will each weigh in separately)
7:30 a.m. Coaches meeting
Session I
8:00 a.m. Doors open
9:00 a.m. Clinics for timers and scorers
9:30 a.m. Wrestle-In Matches 136 matches, 10 mats
11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. First round, all classes 272 matches, 10 mats
Session II
4:00 p.m. Doors open
5:15 p.m. Academic State Champion Presentations
5:30 p.m. First round consolations 136 matches, 10 mats
7:45 p.m. Semifinals 136 matches, 10 mats
Saturday, February 25
8:00 a.m. Boys and Girls Weigh-in, all classes

Session III
8:30 a.m. Doors open
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Consolation Semifinals 136 matches, 10 mats
12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Consolation Finals 68 matches, 10 mats
Session IV
4:00 p.m. Doors open and Band Entertains
5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Opening Ceremonies, Introductions and National Anthem
5:45 p.m. to 5:55 p.m. Final Warm-Ups
6:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. Finals and Awards Presentations 68 matches, 5 mats
Ending times of all sessions are estimates, based upon past tournaments.
Except during the finals, weight classes will not be delayed for grouping
