There is a lot of excitement surrounding Oklahoma State wrestling currently after the offseason hire of David Taylor. With that excitement has come a dramatic improvement in season ticket sales for the wrestling program in this upcoming season. Jesse Martin, the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Oklahoma State Athletics mentioned on the Morning Scramble, a local Stillwater radio show, that OSU wrestling has already doubled their season ticket sales from last season.
I called the ticket office to confirm exact numbers and they were unable to provide them. They did confirm that all reserved season tickets have been sold and only general admission tickets remain.
Following the announcement on the show, Oklahoma State released their home schedule with dates against Wyoming, Arizona State, Virginia Tech, Air Force, NC State, WVU, and Missouri.
