Oklahoma Cadet Greco Team Finishes Second at National Duals

Good start to the weekend in Indiana for the Oklahoma Cadet Greco team as the boys brought him a runner up finish.

They started out in the pool matches on day one by taking out Delaware, New Jersey, and Idaho. This won their pool and set them up in the Gold/Silver bracket.

In the first round of the Gold/Silver bracket, they beat Wisconsin, followed by Pennsylvania, and this set up a semifinal with traditional Greco powerhouse Illinois.

The dual was back and forth from the start and came down to the final match. Max McDaniel(Oklahoma) beat Kalani Khiev (Illinois ) 8-2 to give Oklahoma the 37-35 dual win and a trip to the finals.

This set up Oklahoma with a final vs. Minnesota where they fell for the first time this week 48-26 giving them a National runner-up finish.
