Mat Moments: Week of Dec 12

A busy weekend of wrestling saw great competition at tournaments in Perry, Enid, Bristow, Wilburton, and the Ironman Tournament in Ohio. Blackwell won their first ever Perry Tournament of Champions, while Cushing won a close one over a crowded field at the Chuck West Invitational in Bristow.  Out of state teams took the top two spots at the Mid America Nationals in Enid with defending Class 3A state champion Marlow leading the Oklahoma teams with a 3rd place finish.  Blair Academy won the Ironman but Stillwater had impressive 2nd place showing to lead the teams from Oklahoma.  Little Axe ran away with the team title at the Wilburton Lady Diggers Classic while Moore won the Wrestle Like a Girls Cache Invitational. All of the tournament results can be found in the Tournament Results section on the home page of the OWrestle website.
