Another dual another blowout for the 5th ranked OSU Cowboys, this time over #13 Northern Iowa, 34-3 Friday night in Gallagher Iba Arena.
In what turned out to be little more than a warm up for the Pokes in anticipation of what is sure to be a much more difficult test against Iowa State on Sunday, the Cowboys won nine of ten matchups, and if memory serves, only gave up one takedown in the entire dual.
That makes it two total takedowns given up by the Cowboys in their last THREE duals. Crazy.
The Cowboys are making a bit of a habit of the lower weights storming out to a big lead, with dominating, bonus point performances, followed by the upper weights putting up low scoring victories on the back end.
