Stillwater’s Dee Lockett rolled to a Pan-Am Championships Gold Medal in Lima Peru on Saturday. Lockett outscored opponents 30-0 with three straight tech falls in the event. He opened the tournament vs. Ecuador, defeated a Canadian in the semifinals, and continued his dominant streak with another tech fall over Brazil to bring home the gold.
Lockett was one of ten Americans who won the tournament and helped USA Wrestling bring back a team title. Lockett will represent the U.S. at the U20 World Championships this September in Pontevedra, Spain.
