Kaylee Davis Finishes as a Cadet All-American at Fargo

The Marine Corps National Freestyle/Greco tournament, widely known as “Fargo” kicked off on Saturday in North Dakota and the Oklahoma Cadet Girls were able to crown one All-American with Yukon’s Kaylee Davis.

Davis won her first match in the Round of 16 with a fall over Ohio’s Aubrey Reese. She then fell in the quarterfinals and was knocked to the consolation bracket.

In her first match on the consolation side, she was behind 2-0 against Jannell Avila of Iowa and came back to win 4-2. This win locked in a top 8 and All-American finish for Davis.

She fell in the consolation quarterfinals to Pennsylvania’s Jael Miller. Her seventh-place match will take place tomorrow against Arkansas’ Archer Jones.
