After a CKLV filled with ups and downs, the Cowboys stay at home for a dual against the always tough Lehigh Mountain Hawks.

There are some injury questions, and it sounds like Surber and Doucet should be back. Daton Fix might miss some time, and a potential match with the new #1 Ryan Crookham here.

The Cowboys are favored at every weight but 133 (Without Fix), 157, and 197. Last year OK State won this dual 25-6, but Lehigh is always well coached and can sneak wins out.

There are good challenges at 125, 141, 149, and 157 that should continue to show where the starters are at. Coming off such a tough tournament can leave a bit of a hangover, and with Bedlam coming up on Sunday could be something to watch out for.

125: #21 Troy Spratley (8-2) vs Shelden Seymour (6-3)

This should be a solid test for Spratley, as Seymour is unranked but solid. Seymour is coming off a 25-5 redshirt year, and went 16-11 as the starter in 2022.

His losses this year are to two ranked Division I wrestlers and the D3 champ from last season. Lehigh as a whole tends to be tough on top and Seymour is no exception.

While he wasn’t facing top competition every week, he did have a 57% bonus rate last season. Spratley showed some deficits on bottom at CKLV, either scoring quick escapes off the whistle or getting broken down and turned.

He should have the neutral advantage, and may not even need to take bottom with the new scoring system. I’ll take Spratley by decision, but could see him getting hot and getting a major…
