Big in-state recruiting news for UCO as they’ve signed one of Oklahoma’s best available recruits in 4-time State Champion Josh Taylor.
Taylor went 28-0 this year at 138 and made the Small East All-State roster at 145. He was a star during his time at Skiatook competing for the Bulldogs. This past season he helped lead them to their third straight dual state dual title and a runner-up finish in 4A behind Tuttle. Taylor was the preseason Nationals Champion for 2020.
This is a massive pickup for, UCO who has a very young and talented lineup moving forward. Taylor projects as a 141-149 in college and will be a big asset for them moving forward. Taylor coupled with the group already on campus in Edmond could certainly be D2 national title contenders in the future.
