We look at five teams that wrestled above expectations at the state tournament this past weekend.

We saw a lot of great wrestling at state this past weekend and some incredible performances by individuals everywhere. But every team does their best to peak at the right time and at the state tournament. Some teams may have finished higher than others on this list, but these are the ones that seemed to wrestle best comparative to their rankings or previous finishes throughout the season.
