Cushing’s Deryk Allen Has Made His College Decision

Deryk Allen, a state qualifier at 145 last season out of Cushing, has announced his college decision.

Allen announced via his Instagram on Tuesday that he will be competing in college at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas. Ouachita is coached by Kevin Crutchmer and competes in NCAA Division 2.

Allen is currently ranked fourth in OWrestle’s 4A rankings at 145 pounds.

Allen will join two other former Cushing wrestlers in Ouachita. Brandon Anderson and Evan Kennedy are both former Cushing stars that have also found their way to OBU. Both are freshman.
