Chickasha opened their Dual State tournament as the #1 seed taking on Lawton Macarthur. They won 11 of 14 matches en route to a 55-11 dual win. They followed that up taking on Guthrie and winning every key tossup match including the clash of last year’s state champions Canaan Brumett and Kaedin Herendeen at 120. Brumett was up by one going into the third period before a rideout gave him a 1-0 win.
