Tuttle is once again the overwhelming favorite to add to their incredible, hard-to-believe State Tournament streak as they will be shooting for their 15th straight State Tournament title and 20th since winning their first title in 1990. Several teams will be after the runner-up trophy led by East Regional champion Catoosa. Other teams looking for top finishes include Chickasha Cushing, Cascia Hall and Skiatook.
Tuttle qualified all 14 for the State Tournament, including eight regional champions. Winning regional titles were Braden Potts, JJ Head, Beau Hickman, Jaxon Koeltzow, Ethan Teague, Sam Schmidt, Cody Abston and Jace Warren, The Tigers have six wrestlers who have won 11 state medals including 4 individual titles. Potts is a 2X state champion and 3X state placer, Tucker Waitman won a state title last year after a 2nd place finish in 2021. Hickman won a state title as a freshman last year.
