The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced the 2025 High School Boys State Head Coach and Assistant Coaching Staff of the Year award winners.

Chickasha Head Coach Chad Randle was named the “Head Coach of the Year”, and the Chickasha staff was named assistant staff of the year.

Coaches and staffs were nominated by their state leaders for their outstanding work this season. Each of them now moves on to the next stage, where they’ll be considered for NWCA Section Coach and staff of the Year honors. State Chairs in each section will handle the voting, and winners will be announced next week.

“These awards are about more than just wins and losses,” said NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer. “They recognize the coaches who go the extra mile for their teams, their schools, and the sport. We’re proud to shine a light on their efforts.”

The girls’ awards will be announced tomorrow.
