Central Oklahoma Wrestlers Launch Season with a Perfect Shutout

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Nov. 1) – Zane Coleman and Garrett Wells scored back-to-back falls to highlight a dominating season-opening performance that carried Central Oklahoma to a 42-0 drubbing of Ouachita Baptist Wednesday night.

The No. 3-ranked Bronchos recorded six bonus-point routs and had a 27-1 takedown advantage on the night in winning for the 33rd time in their last 34 duals.

Coleman had a first-period pin at 174 pounds and Wells followed with a second-period fall at 184 to lead the way. UCO also got technical falls from 125 Guy Clevenger and 157 Gabe Johnson, while 149 Antonio George and 165 Hunter Jump added major decisions.

Peter Rolle (133), Ryder Ramsey (141), Emmanuel Skillings (197) and Braden Morgan (Hvy) also won as the Bronchos rolled to their seventh straight win in the series. UCO has outscored the Tigers 300-27 in that span….
