Broken Arrow Wins Girls 6A East Regional Title as Westmoore Goes 4-0 in the Finals

The Broken Arrow girls’ turnaround this season has been incredible to follow. Last year the team finished 21st at the state tournament with four qualifiers and one state placer. With head coach Tori Liles in her second year at the helm, they are a revived program this season. Broken Arrow finished the 6A East Regional tournament with ten state qualifiers, three individual champions, and eight tournament finalists totaling 239 team points and outdistancing second place Bixby by nearly fifty.

Bixby, still a contender for the team title at the state tournament next weekend, finished with eight state qualifiers and one champion Millie Azlin at 155.

The individual finals were exciting. Westmoore had the best performance in that round going 4-0 and winning 100, 105, 110, and 235. Stillwater, Owasso, Sapulpa, El Reno, and Shawnee all had tournament champions as well.
