Cornell gave Oklahoma State all they could handle in the first round of the National Duals Invitational Saturday morning, with the dual coming down to the last match before it was put away.

Here’s how it happened:
The duals all started at 125, which meant (2/2) Troy Spratley faced (25/UR) Marcelo Milani.
Both guys had opportunities to score in the first, but it was Spratley who was able to finish off a reattack to go up 3-0.
Milani escaped fairly quickly to make it 3-1 going into the 2nd. Milani started down, and was able to get out just before riding time hit a minute, making it 3-2.
Spratley got another TD and release, ending the period at 6-3. Spratley was out easy to start the 3rd, got another quick TD and release (10-4), and finished it off with another TD and release to pick up the 14-5 major decision. OSU 4-0.
133 (12/8) Richard Figueroa (0-1) vs. (UR/26) Tyler Ferrara (4-1)
Figueroa came out swinging getting a TD and 2 backpoints in the first 30 seconds for a 5-0 lead. Ferrara got a reverse, then was reversed himself making it 7-2.
