Murray State announced on Tuesday in a Facebook post that wrestler Jayden McCain passed away in a car accident.
“It is with deep sadness that we share that a member of the Murray State College Wrestling Team, Jayden McCain, was killed in a car accident this morning.
This is a heartbreaking day for Aggie Nation as we mourn the loss of one of our own. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, the wrestling team and all who were a part of his life.”
Jayden wrestled in high school at Madill. His family has set up a GoFundMe to cover the funeral costs.
