Wrestlers with Oklahoma ties performed well at the Lindenwood Open held November 20 in St. Charles, MO., crowning 12 champions with 35 other wrestlers placing in the top six. The massive tournament included over 400 wrestlers from 38 teams, including wrestlers from OSU, Iowa and Missouri.
Oklahomans winning the gold medal in the Open Division included UCO’s Ty Lucas and Reece Witcraft, Dusty Hone, Victor Voinovich and Konner Doucet from OSU. Champions crowned in the Freshman-Sophomore bracket included Gabe Johnson, Emmanuel Skillings and Judson Rowland from UCO, Keegan Luton from OCU and Luke Mechler, Trevor Dopps and Kyle Haas from OSU.
