The Oklahoma 6A high school boys wrestling scene is set for another electrifying season, following last year’s nail-biting conclusion where Stillwater narrowly triumphed over Edmond North by a mere point in the team race, 191 to 190. This dramatic finish has only intensified the rivalry and the anticipation for the current season.
Rising to the occasion, Edmond North High School has surged to the top of the rankings, amassing a formidable 212 points with an impressive roster of 14 ranked wrestlers. This remarkable achievement signals Edmond North’s determination to reclaim the top spot and showcase their depth and talent in the wrestling arena.
Stillwater, the defending champions, are positioned in second place with 134 points and nine ranked wrestlers, indicating their sustained competitiveness and eagerness to defend their title.
Close behind is Bixby High School, securing the third rank with 114 points and 11 wrestlers making the mark, a testament to their growing stature in the state’s wrestling landscape.
Broken Arrow and Piedmont High Schools round out the top five, with Broken Arrow accumulating 94 points and nine ranked wrestlers, and Piedmont making a significant statement with 44 points and six ranked wrestlers.
These top-tier lineups across the board sets the stage for a season filled with intense rivalries, exceptional skill, and the unyielding spirit of Oklahoma’s high school wrestlers.
