Crazy how quickly the wrestling season has come and gone. Seems like just weeks ago when we were doing season previews and in a blink of an eye the 2024/25 state tournament is already complete. It was another great and successful tournament (minus a few hiccups with track wrestling and a weird mat setup that I personally didn’t love) but other than that all things went off with a bang. - Two wrestlers in 4A became Oklahoma’s 49th and 50th 4-time state champions
- Tuttle continued to dominate, winning the team title for the 17th straight year
- Sallisaw secured the 2nd place spot, with only 5 qualifiers and 3 state champions
- Many different schools celebrated individual state championships in 4A
- Douglas’ Jermell Perry was named 4A Coach of the Year
