4A Returners & State Placers Report

Tuttle, winner of the last 14 Class 4A state titles enters the 2022-23 season with three returning state champions and three other state placers.  Leading the Tigers will be 2X state champion and 3X placer Braden Potts (99-19 career record). 

Beau Hickman, a Fargo freestyle All-American, went 30-4 in claiming the 2022 state title in his freshman year.  Tucker Waitman, a 2021 state runner-up, went 34-6 to claim the 170 lb. state title last year. 

Others returning for the Tigers include 2X state finalist Sam Schmidt, 2X state placer J.J. Head and Ethan Teague who earned a state runner-up finish in his freshman year.

Heritage Hall enters the season with two 2X state champions and one state placer.  K.J. Evans is a 2X state champion and 3X finalist for the Chargers.  Evans, injured most of last season, is undefeated the past two years and carries a 58-5 career record into his senior year.
