It’s early November, so you know what time it is. We are starting out the Owrestle pre-season rankings with 3A rankings. Returning team state champs, Marlow, returns a loaded squad with eight wrestlers ranked in the top 6. If we associate a team point system with their individual rankings, Marlow comes out with 86 points.
Jay showed a strong surge of dominance last season and returns six wrestlers in the top 6 with a point total of 68, bringing them as the 2nd ranked team in 3A.
With 84 individual wrestlers ranked, as expected, we have a senior dominated ranking with 41 seniors ranked with 30 juniors and 13 sophomores. Incoming freshmen are not included in this ranking, but Owrestle will publish a top incoming freshmen report to help showcase these wrestlers.
