2023 State Tournament Wrap Up (Boys)

Just to wrap up the amazing 2023 wrestling season and to recognize the champions one more time, listed below are the team and individual state champions, multiple-year state champions and some of the statistical leaders.

Listed at the end of the article are the State Tournament scoring records, including the addition of Stillwater, Edmond North and Bixby in the Top 10 in Class 6A, with Stillwater and Edmond North shattering the Class 6A scoring record in their battle for the state championship and 3rd place Bixby having the 10th highest score ever in Class 6A.

Tuttle, in their incredible and on-going 15 year championship streak, own the top nine spots in tournament scoring for all classes with the 2023 state championship team joining the 2017 and 2021 teams in 6th place.

Blackwell’s impressive State Tournament performance was the 3rd highest score in Class 3A. Also listed are the teams with the most individual state champions.

This list was originally compiled by Jared Henning and he gets credit for that research.
