#2 Iowa over #10 Oklahoma State (28-4)

They needed multiple things to go right to get the upset, but just about every swing match went against them. OK State only won two matches here, but wrestled close in nearly every loss. Of the eight matches they dropped, four were within two points or less.

Daton Fix was able to score a nice major decision with a late move, and Gfeller won a gritty over time match to cap off the dual. While a rough finish to the regular season, the Cowboys are still looking to peak for the upcoming Big 12’s.

165lbs: #7 Patrick Kennedy Dec. #23 Wyatt Sheets (7-4)

Sheets escaped to make it 5-4 and was pushing for a takedown, but appeared to lose balance and Kennedy capitalized with a takedown of his own for the win. If Sheets can improve his consistency, he could pull off an upset or two in March…
