Schedule And Brackets For The First Ever Girls OSSAA State Championship

On Thursday the first ever OSSAA sanctioned girls wrestling state championships will take place. The schedule of events and brackets are listed below.

The State Wrestling Tournaments will be held in Oklahoma City at the State Fairgrounds Arena.

8:30 a.m. Weigh-in (Wrestle-In Participants First)
Session I
9:30 a.m. Doors Open
10:00 a.m. Clinics for timers and scorers
10:30 a.m. Wrestle-In Matches 20 Matches 2 Mats
11:30 a.m. Quarterfinals 40 Matches 4 Mats
1:00 p.m. Championship Semi-Finals and
Consolation First Round 40 Matches 4 Mats
2:30 p.m. Consolation Semi-Finals 20 Matches 2 Mats
Session II
5:00 p.m. Doors Open
5:40 p.m. Academic State Champion Presentation
5:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. Opening Ceremonies, Introductions and National Anthem
6:15 p.m. – 6:25 p.m. Final Warm-Ups
6:30 p.m. Medal Matches and Award Presentations 20 Matches 2 Mats
Except during the finals, weight classes will not be delayed for grouping.
Awards for weight classes 100-127 will be presented at the conclusion of the 127 Pound weight class. Awards for
weight classes 136-215 will be presented at the conclusion of the 215 Pound weight class.
