It was a record-breaking week as an amazing 517 girls participated in the two Regional Tournament taking place in Mustang and Sallisaw on Monday and Tuesday.
The first Regional Tournaments took place in 2021, and in that short time the number of girls wrestling at Regionals has increased an incredible 253%!
Moore crowned three champions out of their five finalists and added two other placers to run away with the West Regional title, outscoring 2nd place Westmoore by 76 points.
Bixby also crowned three champions out of their five finalists with two other placers to win the East Regional Tournament by 35 points over 2nd place McLoud, with defending state champion Union just one-point behind McLoud.
