Oklahoma Closes Out Junior National Duals With a Third Place Freestyle Finish

Oklahoma wrapped up their week at the Junior National Duals in Tulsa with a third-place finish in Freestyle.

After falling to Iowa in the first bout of the day, Oklahoma answered with wins over Illinois and Wisconsin to finish in third place. The highlight win of the day came when Cael Hughes knocked off fellow Fargo champ Kannon Webster of Illinois.

Inside the Team Oklahoma Huddle After Their Third Place Win Over Wisconsin | Rokfin

The Red team finished in second place in the Bronze/Copper bracket. They finished fourth in their pool on Friday then rolled to the finals of their bracket, winning three straight to set up a rematch from their pool with Florida. In the rematch with Florida they fell 35-31 just short of winning first in the bracket.
