Michael Lightner Hired as Noble Wrestling Coach

Not long after OU announced long-time assistant Michael Lightner would be leaving the program, the former NCAA champion has found a new home.

Lightner will be taking the reigns of the Noble high school wrestling program.

This will be Lightner’s first high school coaching job after close to 20 years spent in Norman.

This should be a huge boost for Noble, and wrestling in the state of Oklahoma. Noble competes in 5A and had one boys’ state qualifier last season at 113 with Daniel Prior.
