Hardell runs the Oklahoma Wrestling Academy, which is widely regarded as one of the top wrestling academies in the country, and is the coaches director for OKUSA Wrestling.

Hardell, is originally from Coweta and was a two-time Big 12 champion and two-time All-American at Oklahoma State in college.
