Broken Arrow’s Allison Hynes Finishes as an All-American at Fargo

The girls Junior National tournament took place the last few days at Fargo and the Oklahoma Junior Girls were able to crown one All-American with Broken Arrow’s Allison Hynes.

Hynes got a bye in the first round then back-to-back tech falls before pinning California’s Presley Anderson to make the quarterfinals.

She fell in the quarterfinals to eventual champion Ngao Shoua Whitehorn and was knocked to the consolation side. She won a tight back and forth battle with California’s Karen Salais 10-9 which put her in the consolation quarterfinals.

Hynes dropped her next two bouts and finished the tournament in 8th place.

Team Oklahoma finished in 33rd place with 2 team points.
